Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

As all posters are custom printed for you, production usually takes 2–4 business days. Shipping within Germany then takes approximately 3–5 business days. For deliveries to the EU or internationally, please allow about 5–10 business days.
How are the posters packaged?

Our posters are securely packaged, either in sturdy shipping bags or robust poster tubes depending on their size, so that your Sackhund design arrives crease-free.
How much is shipping?

We ship worldwide for free on orders over €50!

  • For orders under €50: The exact shipping costs for your country will be clearly displayed at checkout before purchase.
  • For international customers: The €50 threshold will automatically be converted to your local currency at checkout (e.g., approx. $60 USD / ¥9,500 JPY / £45 GBP / CHF 50 / AUD 85). Due to exchange rates, the exact amount may fluctuate slightly or be an uneven value.
Why don't you currently ship to other EU countries (except Germany)?

We would love to send Sackhund to every living room in the world. Unfortunately, national packaging and recycling regulations in the EU countries create considerable bureaucratic hurdles and high fixed administrative costs for small, independent labels.

As these requirements are not yet financially viable for us at launch, we are currently unable to offer direct shipping to these countries.

Tip for customers in Austria and other nearby EU countries:

Some customers use a German parcel forwarding service or have their poster delivered to friends or relatives in Germany. We can ship to German delivery addresses without any problems.

Quality & Formats

What paper quality is used?

We print on high-quality, durable museum-grade paper with a premium matte finish. This ensures brilliant colors and prevents distracting light reflections.
Do the posters come with frames?

The posters are supplied unframed. However, we use common standard sizes so you can easily find suitable frames in any furniture store or online shop. To match your taste and interior style.

How do I flatten my poster after unpacking it?

Because we print on sturdy, museum-quality 189 gsm fine art paper and your poster arrives rolled, it may have a mind of its own at first.

Here’s how to get it nice and flat:

  1. Carefully unroll the poster from the tissue paper.
  2. Lay it flat on a clean, dry surface—preferably with the printed side facing up and protected by the included tissue paper.
  3. Gently weigh down the corners for a few hours or overnight, using a few heavy books, for example.

Our tip: If you are placing the poster in a frame, it does not need to be completely flat beforehand. The frame’s cover will usually press the heavy paper into shape naturally. If you would like to attach it directly to the wall without a frame, simply leave it weighed down for an extra day.

Returns & Complaints

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

That shouldn't happen, of course! If your delivery was damaged in transit or there's a misprint, please send us a short message with 1–2 photos to support@sackhund.com. We will immediately arrange for a free replacement.
How can I cancel or return an order?

You have the legal right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. To do so, simply send us an email to support@sackhund.com. After receipt of the cancellation, you can return the goods to us. You bear the direct costs of the return shipment.

Why isn't every design I saw on Instagram available here?

On Instagram, the "Sackhund" regularly shares his mostly profound thoughts and hair-raising adventures. However, only selected motifs make it into the Superstore, which we specifically prepare for high-quality art printing. Are you missing a very specific favorite motif as a print on your wall? Just send us a quick message via the contact form or on Instagram – perhaps this motif will then be the next to appear in the shop.
